The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
