The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
