The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
