Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
