The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
