The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
