Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He saith: Contend not in My presence, when I had already proffered unto you the warning. 28 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
