The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
