The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
