The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the racers, panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
