Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
