Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
