The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
