Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
