The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
