The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
