Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
