Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 and produce sparks 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
