The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
