The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
