The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
