The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
