The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A flaming fire! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
