Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
