Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
