Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8
