Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
