Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Almighty God's Truth.
