Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
