The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In columns outstretched. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
