The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extended columns. 9
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
