The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 covered down upon them, 8 In extending columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
