The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
