The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), did you not see how did your Lord deal with the People of the Elephant? 1 Did He not make their guile to go astray? 2 And He sent against them birds in flocks, 3 which smote them with stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained, 4 And He made them like eaten straw. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
