Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 who show off, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
