Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
