Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
