Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
