Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
