Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
