Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
