Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth and gains will not exempt him. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
