Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, may he be ruined. 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames! 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
