Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 He will be plunged in flaming Fire, 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
