O children of Israel! Just recall to mind My favour wherewith I blessed you fulfil your covenant with Me and I shall fulfil My covenant with you, and fear Me alone. 40 And believe in what I have sent down (this Quran), confirming that which is with you, [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and buy not with My Verses [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] a small price (i.e. getting a small gain by selling My Verses), and fear Me and Me Alone. (Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. I, Page 253). 41 Do not confound truth with falsehood, nor knowingly hide the truth while you know. 42 And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience]. 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 And seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: and this, indeed, is a hard thing for all but the humble in spirit, 45 Who know that they shall meet their Lord and that they shall return to Him. 46
