Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]. 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense? 44 Seek help with the Salat and fortitude: no doubt, Salat is a hard task but not for those obedient servants, 45 Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him. 46
