Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel, remember My blessing wherewith I blessed you, and fulfil My covenant and I shall fulfil your covenant; and have awe of Me. 40 And believe in that which I have sent down confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and barter not My revelations for a small price, and Me alone shall ye fear. 41 And do not overlay the truth with falsehood, and do not knowingly suppress the truth; 42 And perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and bow with those that bow. 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 And seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: and this, indeed, is a hard thing for all but the humble in spirit, 45 who are certain of their meeting with their Lord and their return to Him. 46
