God wants to guide you, explain to you the customs of those who lived before you, and grant you forgiveness. He is All-knowing and All-wise. 26 And Allah would turn to you in mercy; but those who follow vain desires would have you go tremendously astray. 27 Allah desires that He should make light your burdens, and man is created weak. 28 Believers! Do not devour one another's possessions wrongfully; rather than that, let there be trading by mutual consent. You shall not kill yourselves. Surely Allah is ever Compassionate to you. 29 If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah. 30 If you shun the great sins you have been forbidden, We shall cancel out your minor misdeeds and admit you to a place of honour. 31 Hence, do not covet the bounties which God has bestowed more abundantly on some of you than on others. Men shall have a benefit from what they earn, and women shall have a benefit from what they earn. Ask, therefore, God [to give you] out of His bounty: behold, God has indeed full knowledge of everything. 32 To (benefit) every one, We have appointed shares and heirs to property left by parents and relatives. To those, also, to whom your right hand was pledged, give their due portion. For truly Allah is witness to all things. 33
