Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 to burn therein. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
