Believers, always be well prepared and on your guard. March in small groups or all together. 71 There are some among you who lag behind (in battle) and if you were to experience hardship, they would say, "It was certainly due to God's favors to us that we were not present with them," 72 But if good fortune comes to you from God, such a person is sure to say - just as if there had never been any question of love between you and him: "Oh, would that I had been with them, and thus had a [share in their] mighty triumph!" 73 ۞ Therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world's life for the hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward. 74 And how should you not fight for the cause of God, and for the helpless old men, women, and children who say, "Deliver us, Lord, from this city of wrongdoers, grant us a protector out of Your grace and grant us a supporter out of Your grace?" 75 Those who have faith fight in the way of Allah, while those who disbelieve fight in the way of taghut (Satan). Fight, then, against the fellows of Satan. Surely Satan's strategy is weak. 76
